A typical day on the job:   I get here at 8:10 and start working pretty much as soon as I get here. I don’t take lunch – just so I can stay on top of what my boss needs and be able to leave on time at the end of the day.

 

Positive things about being an administrative professional in this industry:   Getting to know a lot about what is going on in the museum because my boss is a department head.

Primary responsibilities as an administrative professional in this position:  Calendar scheduling, expense reports, travel arrangements, keeping track of staff’s attendance, and organizing.
